Kevan Curry
We have a bonus episode from our Careers and Enterprise Week and what a bonus it is! You really need to make sure you listen to this one. Kevan began his career as a professional footballer before moving into his Health and Safety career. His job has taken him all over the world from the River Ganges to the roof – YES, THE ROOF! – of Wembley stadium!
Roger Periam
Roger is a Trustee with Transform Trust. We spoke to Roger about his very interesting career working with technology. We were amazed to hear about the early stages of video conferencing and also to find out more about countries Roger has worked in!
Rebecca Meredith CBE
Rebecca is the CEO of Transform, the Multi-Academy Trust which Abbey Hill are excited to soon be joining. She spoke to us about her highlights and experiences in education, meeting King Charles to receive her CBE and gave us some great advice too!
Simon Ord
Simon works for The FA. He is the Education Officer for the England U16 squad. He used to be Head of Education at Derby County. Simon has a very exciting job where gets to combine teaching with top-level Football! Wouldn’t that be a great career to have!
Mike Butler
Mike is a Trustee of Transform Trust, the Multi-Academy Trust which Abbey Hill is excited to be soon be joining. Mike tells us about his time in the Navy and gives a great ‘be kind’ message to all our Abbeyhillians!
