 November 2021

As COVID rates continue to rise across the country, please be assured we are doing everything we can to keep children safe and to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our school community. Children meet only in small class groups for assemblies, lunchtimes and playtimes and we have continued our extra cleaning hours throughout the school day. Let’s all keep each other safe as we move into the colder months with the added risks of winter viruses such as flu.

Please remember these things when you bring your child to school:

  • Arrive at the school gate on time, not early

  • Make sure you social distance from other parents and families at the gate and in the playground

  • Keep your children at home and ring 119 for advice if they have any COVID-19 symptoms (a new, continuous cough, a high temperature or a loss of taste or smell)

  • If your child has COVID-19 symptoms, please book a PCR test for them. New guidance does not recommend lateral flow tests for children under the age of 11.

Below you will find links to information about NHS Test and Trace and about when your child is well enough to come to school.
